Who We Are

Created in 2016 by Dr. Barbara Jane Brickman and fourteen undergraduate students at the University of Alabama, the Druid City Girls Media Program is a project seeking to bring media production, media literacy, and digital storytelling to girls in Tuscaloosa, AL. After three years of film production summer camps, we’re excited to unveil our first ever virtual learning experience! It’s our hope that this site will make our digital filmmaking tools and resources accessible for girls all across Alabama.
